Ronald S. Kaiping is known as “Ron” at the Title Company and to people engaged in real estate sales, financing and construction in Monroe County and in the surrounding area. Ron is a graduate of Southern Indiana University, formerly known as Indiana State University of Evansville. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1982. After graduation, he spent five years in the surveying field, including three years as a crew chief at Rhutasel & Associates in Freeburg, Illinois.

Ron joined Monroe County Title Co. in March 1987 and worked under the direction of President Robert L. Gardner until his retirement. Ron quickly became very knowledgeable about all aspects of title searches and title insurance practice and became president of the company in 1992, a position that he has held since that time.

Ron’s surveying background and experience makes him uniquely qualified to interpret and understand real estate descriptions and survey plats, which are critical when searching and examining titles to real estate, and making determinations as to the insurability of real estate titles. Ron’s additional accounting background facilitates understanding of the financial aspects of real estate transactions and the complexities relating to construction escrows, all of which is critical when following closing instructions and working with contractors and lenders. Ron’s experience of nearly 25 years in the title industry, along with his experience in the survey field, facilitates handling real estate transactions in a smooth and efficient manner for all parties involved in a real estate transaction.
